  • Somatic therapy: Involves learning how to calm or discharge stress, tension and trauma that is stored in the body. incorporating techniques can include breathing exercises, movement, mindfulness, orientation, imagery and meditation. Somatic therapy techniques are body-focused to help us calm our nervous systems that have been overloaded by stressors.

    Client-centred Therapy: To foster a supportive and inclusive therapeutic space that celebrates the client's individuality with the insight that they are the expert of their own life.

    Trauma-Informed Therapy: Aware of the complexity of Trauma and how it impacts one’s ability to cope and regulate the nervous system.

    Narrative Therapy: Explores dominant unhelpful narratives and re-authors them more empoweringly.

    Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): See’s the interconnected relationship between thoughts, feelings, sensations and behaviour and how they can create negative cycles of limiting thoughts/ beliefs. Breaks down problems into smaller pieces to create empowering strategies to reframe in a more positive way.

    Mindful-Based Therapy: Brings mindful awareness to the present moment, to notice bodily sensations, feelings, thoughts that are arising to hold with compassion and care.

    Solution-focused Therapy: The primary focus is on the present moment to empower and utilize your innate abilities to find solutions and set goals to overcome life's challenges rather than focus on the problem.
